For the first time in his MMA career, Tom Breese was pushed to the distance by Keita Nakamura Saturday at UFC Fight Night 84.
Breese, though, was able to come out on top, improving to 10-0 with a decision victory.
“I fought a bit flat, but this guy is tough,” Breese said. “I better get more cage time.”
The Brit, who improved to 3-0 in his brief UFC career, admitted that he tried to tell everybody how tough Nakamura would be, as the 40-fight veteran has won 31 bouts.
Breese, just 24 years old, bested Cathal Pendred and Luiz Dutra, Jr. via first round TKOs in his first two Octagon appearances.
