Joanna Jedrzejczyk had no trouble taking out top challenger Jessica Andrade this past Saturday night at UFC 211.
So what’s next for the dominant champion? That’s what she is wondering herself.
Jedrzejczyk earned her fifth consecutive title defense in the process, and landed second on the UFC’s significant strikes thrown list by hitting Andrade 225 times. She also set a record for leg kicks with 75 and had the highest significant strike differential at 142 in the bout.
“That’s my question to you,” she said, looking into the camera during her post-fight interview on FOX Sports 1. “Who’s next.”
Jedrzejczyk moved to American Top Team to train recently and has had nothing but continued success.
“Yes this was one of the best fights I’ve ever done. I’m 14-0 in MMA now,” she said. “My striking is on a good level. My wrestling and jiu-jitsu is getting better. I train with the best in the world at American Top Team. I’m very happy.”
