Swanson says he’s fighting Pulver on Nov. 3
According to the MySpace page of WEC featherweight fighter Cub Swanson, his match against Jens Pulver that had originally been scheduled for Sept. 5 has been moved to Nov. 3. Pulver was removed from the card after injuring his knee during the final weeks of his training camp. Jens Pulver off of Sept. 5 WEC card vs. Cub Swanson
Jens Pulver’s WEC debut will have to wait as his scheduled match on September 5 vs. Cub Swanson has been scrapped. The MFS-affiliated fighter sustained a knee injury last Friday, according to Sherdog.com. He’s slated to undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury. Report: Pulver to fight Swanson in WEC (UPDATED)
The Tagg Radio crew broke more news on today’s show in addition to Shogun fighting Forrest Griffin at UFC 76. According to Tagg Radio, Jens Pulver’s first fight in the WEC at 145 lbs. will be against Cub Swanson. No date for the fight was given.
