Werdum says he has new five fight contract with UFC
With one fight remaining on his current contract, heavyweight title contender Fabricio Werdum has revealed to the Brazilian website Tatame that he has already signed a five-fight contract extension with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Dave Carmichael of the Carmichael Dave Show on KHTK in Sacramento is reporting that EliteXC middleweight Scott Smith suffered a broken hand during the first round of Saturday’s main event rematch against EliteXC middleweight champion “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler.
