Full Amateur Card:

1. 160 lbs: Lionel Borreli (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu United) submits Cory Getz (Ephrata MMA) via triangle choke at 1:01 of round 1.

2. 170 lbs:Jeremy Fields (Team Combat) submits Matt Nice (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu United) via rear naked choke at 1:52 of round 2.

3. 150 lbs.: Brylan Vanartsdalen (Daddis MMA) defeats Israel Flores (Evolve Academy) via unanimous decision.

4. 125 lbs.: Lauren Feldman (D’Awesome Boxing) defeats Lindsey MacMhaolain (Team Combat) via unanimous decision.

5. 140 lbs. Muay Thai: Brandon Mickens (Team Combat) defeats Tuan Pham (Fight Firm) via unanimous decision.

6. 145 lbs.: Jason Morris (Evolve Academy) submits David Barb (Team Kamikazee) via rear naked choke at 0:41 of round 1.

7. 185 lbs.: Tim Williams (Millvile BJJ) submits Jack Greene (Team Combat) via rear naked choke at 1:51 of round 1.

11. 150 lbs.: Anthony Morrison (Team Combat) submits Jay Palmer (Ruff Houser MMA) via armbar at 1:51 of round 2.

12. 140 lbs.: Dwayne Shelton (Team Combat) defeats Sedico Honorio (Daddis MMA) via unanimous decision.

Akiyama vs. Misaki a No Contest

FightOpinion.com reports that Japanese MMA site God Bless the Ring says that the finish of the Yoshihiro Akiyama vs. Kazuo Misaki fight has been overturned.

Misaki was declared the winner on the New Years Eve Yarennoka show when he delivered a brutal soccer kick to Akiyami’s head. However, there has been a public outcry that the kick was illegal because Akiyami’s hand was touching the canvas when he was struck.

The decision has been officially changed to a no contest.

Report: Akiyama and Kang to fight for HERO’s on Oct. 28

Sherdog.com is reporting that Yoshihiro Akiyama and Denis Kang have been scheduled for K-1 HERO’s next card on Oct. 28. The card is slated to take place in Seoul, South Korea at the Jang Chung Gymnasium.

This will be Akiyama’s first fight since a 10-month suspension after being accused of applying an excessive amount of moisturizer to his body prior to his match against Kazushi Sakuraba last Dec. 31.

For Kang, who is half-Korean, it will mark his first match under the K-1 HERO’s banner.

Opponents for both Kang and Akiyama have yet to be named.
